Rocchi started as part of the legendary band Stormy Six. Early solo albums embraced folk music but in a unique way, with elements of Eastern influence, and psychedelia.  After the early experimental-folk period came a very interesting phase of experimentation in electronic sound. He returned to music in the 1990s and in 2007 even directed a film called Pedra Mendalza, recording the soundtrack as well. He contributed some very unexpected mélanges of Italian rock, psych-folk-Eastern, pop, and electronic music. We believe his new album "in Alto", released on Cramps records October 25fth, would be of great interest to fans of the genre  calling for deep attention and careful listening. 11 tracks of surprising electronic folk rock songs. In 2004 the city of Modena engaged the architect Marco Dezzi Bardeschi of the Milan Politecnico to restore some rooms of the medieval Palazzo Comunale which has housed the city’s public institutions since the Middle Ages. In particular, those spaces serving as stores in the 19th century have been converted into Tourist offices and a brand new hall. By highlighting the most ancient features of the building the conversion has allowed an improved reading of its historical and symbolical relevance. The sky painted by Vittorio Locatelli upon the vaulted ceiling of the rooms represents the constellations with reference to three very important dates in the history of the city: the Liberation Day of Modena on 22nd April, the Italian National Freedom Day on 25th April and the Workers' Day on 1st May. During these three days in 1945 a radical political change to Democracy took place in Modena and the “new” painted sky is meant to symbolize the “new” political direction. Daniele Lombardi has composed and performed the piano solo piece "COSTELLAZIONE SECONDA"(also by the use of a second piano resonance and digital processing) in order to pay tribute to these three very important historical dates. Il 25 ottobre 2011 esce la ristampa del primo album dell'artista per la Cramps Records. Protagonista del cantautorato Italiano per l’originalità compositiva che lo ha da sempre contraddistinto, Claudio Rocchi realizza con "A Fuoco" un lavoro unico per ricerca melodica e arrangiamento. Dopo anni di esperienza con la musica elettronica, quest’album del ’77 è un ritorno dell' artista alla tradizione italiana come cantautore e musicista.

La ristampa nella versione originale del primo capolavoro degli Opus Avantra, considerati dall’autorevole rivista Gibraltar una delle formazioni più rappresentative e significative della scena musicale Progressive mondiale. La ristampa include anche la verisone integrale del brano “Introspezione”. Lord Cromwell. Plays suite for seven vices. Un concept album che ripercorre i 7 vizi capitali attraverso suoni, melodie  e ritmi unici. In questa nuova edizione  è stata comunque inserita la bonus track "Allemanda", interpretata dal  soprano Donella Del Monaco ed inclusa nel singolo Flowers on Pride, pubblicato solo all’epoca in 45 giri  e ristampato in CD in una recente versione giapponese del disco.

Cramps Music, ideatrice del progetto, dedica il terzo capitolo al Rock progressivo italiano con la pubblicazione di un CD di 18 brani musicali estratti da alcuni degli album tra i più celebri, pubblicati in Italia tra la fine degli anni '60 e la decade '70. La selezione musicale, i testi e le interviste nascono dalla straordinaria collaborazione con l'esperto Donato Zoppo. La prefazione vede l'autorevole firma di Riccardo Storti.
